Proliant Dairy enlisted Egan's help to install dairy a silo it had purchased from a company in Wisconsin. The 50,000-gallon, 65' silo traveled to St. Johns, MI, where Egan used two cranes -- 100 ton and 60 ton -- to set the silo in place. To prepare the silo for use at Proliant, Egan cut a hole in the adjacent concrete wall and pre-constructed a stainless steel alcove for the silo before setting the silo into place. This will give the dairy processor access to the manhole, CIP piping and agitator from inside the facility.
Egan was also part of the project team for the initial construction of the 85,000 square-foot whey protein processing facility in 2019.
