Egan's Sheet Metal Department was selected to renovate a former department store at Westshore Mall into the Holland Community Center. Scheduled to open summer of 2025, the facility will feature basketball and pickleball courts; workout equipment; an indoor track; office space; and multipurpose rooms for events, fitness and other classes. Project planners focused noise reduction in the multipuprose rooms, so Egan used lined duct, unique airflow path for vents, low velocity ductwork and large fans to quietly circulate air. Egan's scoped also included the installation of 13 AHUs and five exhaust fans, plus all associated ductwork. The unique slope of the roof where the units were installed required that the equipment curbs be individually fabricated to specific angles in order to level the equipment.
