Frauenthal Theater Renovation

Originally constructed in 1929, the historic Frauenthal Theater in Muskegon underwent a series of renovations that included more efficient heating and cooling systems. Egan's team removed the nearly 100-year-old Air Handling Unit (AHU) -- as well as other original equipment -- through a hole in the roof before lifting the new equipment into place. In all, a new seven-piece AHU, boiler, boiler pieces, condensing unit and rooftop unit were set into place, some of the pieces weighing as much as 6,000 lb. Egan also provided sheet metal and insulation services for a turnkey installation within a three-month window.
