In early 2026, Andy J Egan's Building Controls Division kicked off a project at Central Holland Church that will upgrade the campus's BAS system. The maintenance manager reached out to Egan after the church's existing system began to fail, leaving the team without full access to the HVAC systems across campus. When installing the upgraded system, Egan will utilize the existing infrastructure for the new open protocol system using Johnson Controls products, a cost-effective solution that will give the Church full ownership and greater flexibility. The church's facilities team will have remote access to more than 15 air handling units, three boiler systems, a chiller system with an ice bank, and mutliple unit heaters when the upgrade is complete.
