After completing the underground plumbing phase of the new Ludington Elementary School in 2020, Egan also constructed the aboveground portion of the mechanical systems for the eight-wing building. To curb pandemic-related schedule delays, Egan implemented a number of time saving strategies, including fabrication, vic-clamp piping installations and 3D point-layout. Also in response to COVID, plans for the new school's HVAC system have been upgraded to allow for improved filtering and overall better ventilation. Egan lead the 3D coordination on this Building Information Modeling project.
